Imitation is not always the sincerest form of flattery. There is a small softener business that uses the "Jager" name but cannot carry our Seahorse Systems. Some of our past customers, confused by that business, purchased his generic softener (we stock that same softener for less) and were disappointed to later find it was not us or our well known "Seahorse System".
We are the original (Jager & Sons) or (Jager Water Conditioning Co).
Because the popular Seahorse logo has become synonymous with our Jager name and in an effort to avoid customer confusion, in 2000 we changed our name to Seahorse Water Conditioning Co. Our company was founded by the late Chuck Jager Sr. who originated the Seahorse water systems. Three of his sons that worked with him (the 4th was dismissed due to business practices), now proudly own and operate this company, maintaining the same level of excellence.
